Soon after my sister was conceived, I had a vivid vision (that’s how I can call it) one day. I came to know through the vision that my sister is bearing twins and that sadly both these souls have agreed to a challenging lifetime ahead. One of them had planned to be born a handicap and the other had chosen a tough later life. It was strange enough for me to believe at that time but when the scan reported twins, I was in deep distress about the vision I had had – to believe or not to believe, to disclose to my sister or not to, to seek help from a doctor or not to. And then I tried to practice this yet strange thing – to converse with the not-yet-born twin souls, make them understand that such challenging plans were not necessary and that they should choose less tough lives. Somehow I was getting convinced day by day that this is going to work when atlast one day my sister had a sudden miscarriage.

I was with her through every stage of this happening, actively involved from criticizing to comforting her. Being with her and listening to what she was going through, it was difficult for me to stamp the whole account as a hallucination. I could know there was some truth in what she was experiencing.
Yesterday as I got hold of this book Experiencing The Soul by Eliot Jay Rosen, I was amazed to learn about this phenomenon of prebirth experience which was exactly what my friend had experienced two years before. In fact now this is a scientific field of study just like near-death experiences because of the enormous number of people reporting seeing in visions and dreams about the coming of their child.
Researchers working on prebirth experiences (PBEs), Dr. Brent Hinze and Sarah Hinze report that most of such occurrences happen to people before their conception and yet few after conception. It’s mostly the mothers who are informed either by the preborn soul or by a divine voice or vision. And it’s mostly a message of warning (like in my friend’s case), a note of love or a sharing of its purpose on earth. Though throughout history and in mythology such things have been mentioned, it was always only the coming of a notable person which were highlighted like Angel Gabriel visiting Mother Mary to inform the coming of Christ. And now it’s interesting to know that it can happen to you and me as well.
This post comes to let know all the parents-to-be not to miss out to hear what your children have to tell you before they come to earth.

Yes, most of the times we ignore. Our lifestyles have become mostly to project ourselves outwardly. See the enormous time spent in social networking around the world. But I am sure everyone will get to understand in time. Also a first-hand experience is necessary for such beliefs. I myself wouldn’t have been interested with just a blind faith.

Every night during sleep we are in a supernatural and paranormal existence then. These are only terminologies for things which are unknown to us. Unknown does not mean they do not exist.

I agree to this point. We don’t have to run behind such mysteries or live in such fantasies or play an ouija board which are not only unhealthy but also dangerous.
At the same time skepticism shouldnt be too dominating to block our intuitive capabilities. Nature many a times gives us warning. We react with our logic and reasoning, with the popular ‘non-scientific’ response. Who are the losers?
And the mysteries shouldnt be shunned completely because it is one of the ways that leads a person to mindfulness and meditation which is the ultimate for gaining wisdom.
Vibrations of good and bad do exist around us a great intuitive mind is needed to grasp that.

Haaah…..what a creative thought! Actually even I didn’t think about this. Should ask my mom too. And in fact when we start asking such questions about what we did while in the womb, during our early childhood days, our parents and grandparents recollect many instances which otherwise we could not have known.
Exactly, life before and after are interesting than the present life……Ha! Thinking about these other dimensions sometimes lifts the burden we face on Earth.

If you it read again, you will understand it’s not my experience. It is of my friend’s. I too had and still have the same question to her if it were right or not. She said she just did what she felt like doing.

First of all sorry for the delay in commenting. The post has putforth an interesting and ever intriguing phenomena (supernatural or paranormal or whatever one wud call it!).
Kudos to you for introducing the concept by packaging it with the right incidents!
The post leaves me intrigued and pondering over the pre-birth experiences. It also reminds me of the kind of comments we come across in movies (mostly) such as mother’s refering to their baby’s movements in the womb as a conveyance of a message (Happiness or so!).
But, got to know only now that, babies do communicate (?) with people other than their mothers which is a little hard to believe!
Wanna explore the research into it further, and would be happy to read some more posts on it in here (from you!). Personally, I don’t deny the fact that these experiences do have something to tell us provided they are genuine!

Experience – I think this is the sole factor required to see the genuinity. We don’t doubt mother’s love. We just know she loves.
Hard to believe for many. That’s why I wanted to introduce this subject – to be aware and open.
