Deja vu – What’s Beyond the Fantasy?

This is in continuation with my previous post on deja vu – My Deja vu Moments – Captured and Painted!

So what happened about the row of houses, the old brick house and the red T-shirt guy of the first post?

The Row of Houses     Nothing beyond that experience.

The Old Brick House  Helped me to frame the first post with its last pictures. And has no existence now.

The Red T-shirt Guy   Became a trustworthy friend. Other than that is like any other friend 1000s of miles apart, like any other friend is in touch occasionally, like any other friend has his own journey to be continued.

Exactly like how a fairy tale is all about a happily ever after, my previous post was all about the glamour behind the deja vu experiences. Leaving behind the magical feelings attached to deja vu let’s come to the ground level to see what’s beyond the fantasy.

Here’s a glimpse into addressing the big WHY of deja vu.

As in the elephant story*, people with different interests come up with explanations through their own subject of interest.

A Neuroscientist:  says there is nothing mystical attached to it. It’s all the sudden changes in the neuro-anatomical structures in the brain which gets translated to such confused state of mind.

A Psychiatrist: says deja vu is a symptom of temporal lobe epilepsy, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and many more in the list.

A Para-Psychologist: says it’s a dream or an astral travel in to a future which reappears in reality.

An Occult/Mystic: (I don’t know what they are called actually) says it’s a previous life birth memory which had been stored in the deeper layers of the psyche.

A Spiritualist: says it’s symptomatic of kundalini awakening, when the life-force energy is finding its way through the energy centres in the spine.

I don’t know what a telecom engineer would have said. Probably some wireless communication through fibre optics 😉

                    —————————————————————————————-

* The Blind Men and Elephant Story: In various versions of the tale, a group of blind men touch an elephant to learn what it is like. Each one feels a different part, but only one part, such as the side or the tusk. They then compare notes and learn that they are in complete disagreement.

                   —————————————————————————————-

Now I don’t intend to end saying all are wrong or one is convincing than the other. The answer to the big WHY must be a combination of all these like how the legs, tusk, tail and ears together with a life in it becomes the elephant. More researchers interested in the new branch of study called the New Age Science (A holistic study interrelating mind, body and spirit) are required to decode the subtle connections between neuroscience, psychology and spirituality.

Until then the human  mind can get nowhere near the truths though the human consciousness stepping into the states of higher consciousness can.
