9 Dream Libraries and My Real Home Library

This post is written for Indispire of indiBlogger for the prompt “What would your dream library look like?” #DreamLibrary
Who would not want to have a fascinating library at home? With the recent book reviews I’ve been doing, I keep receiving books after books from authors and publishers. How I wish I had a home library like one of these!

      1. Careful with that, you need to keep checking on them, dusting them etc I’ve lost quite some books in that manner 🙁

  1. Those diagonal shelves are brilliant … the volumes won’t keep tipping over, yet there aren’t so many books atop one another you can’t extract the bottom one without making a mess. Of course, I’m wondering how you’d organize everything. Alphabetize diagonally or horizontally, for instance?

    1. I liked it too, that’s why it became the featured pic of the post. Some racks have books arranged one behind the other which is still easier to take one out. The others one on top of other would make a mess as you said.

      That’s a funny question 😛

  2. OMG. Thanks for those cute pics of wonderful libraries. Would love to have one of them one day!!
By the way how do you manage your books clean and neat with your kid around! At first look they look neat though!

    1. They are perfectly neat in fact. I let him topple down the books from the racks. However, the minute he tries to pull off the pages, his play-time will end. I cannot see my books being crushed and torn. Good observation you have!

You have a nice blog Krishna. Thanks for your time here, keep visiting often.

  3. Somehow I like most of them- 1, 3, 6,5,6,8,9 – in that order. 8th is closer to what I have and 1 is in my dreams – though it can’t be that organized :-). Last one is the best which is a reality :-).
