I couldn’t control my fingers clicking on this painting. Otherwise I am little lazy to open these kind of long posts on the FB wall. And thankfully I didn’t stop with admiring this painting. This beautiful message, though not a new one for many of us, gives a warm understanding towards life every time it’s read, time and again. Do read till the end.
Me: God, can I ask You a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise You won’t get mad
God: I promise
Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait
God: Hmmmmm
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call
God: All right
Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn’t work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?
God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one
of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.
Me: (ashamed)
God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work.
Me (embarrassed):Okay
God: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered.
Me (softly): I see God
God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that would knock out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.
Me: I’m Sorry God
God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things , the Good & the bad.
Me: I will trust You.
God: And don’t doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.
Me: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.
God: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children…
A reason behind everything that happens with us – is this a reality or only a way of consolation for our misfortunes? There is no reliable answer to this question. Sometimes time can answer though. And sometimes our individual beliefs and insights can.
However, aren’t many of you thankful today for something that went (seemingly) wrong before five years? Aren’t many of you thankful for breaking with your ex-love for the perfect person you’ve found today? Haven’t your yesterday’s failures made you greater today? If we can take sometime and introspect on such significant milestones in, say, the last ten years and relate them with where we are today, probably we can get a little closer to God’s reasons.
I wish we all had personal talking Gods with us all the time 🙂 This post comes to tell you all that whatever is that you are going through now, know, God’s reason behind that is hidden at this moment. It might be tough today, but it’s only to prevent it becoming tougher tomorrow.
Remember your God is sitting right next to you as you read this post. Tell Him that you trust Him. Pray to Him to make you trust Him all the time.

Cant really agree coz if i had married my ex-love she might have been more perfect than the perfect person i am with now,In hindsight we just convince ourselves that we are with the perfect person coz no option right now 🙂
ONe thing is certain nothing is perfect(neither one’s ex nor the present one) its all one’s perception that’s all
I thought of this example because 10 out of 10 people Ive met are thankful for their present partners. I agree, though, that its a subjective perception. Some really feel their partners being perfect for them. Some actually accept them without choice. I agree with you. Its a matter of individual experiences.

I dont know how i could have missed this post before but i have to tell you, i was praying to God about why certain things are happening for no reason and I prayed to God to show me a sign of some sort by today and guess what I came across..this post after nearly a year 🙂 The power of prayers!
